Add collections

Crawl an simple website

To get to know the ES we recommend that you start by crawling a small website.

Start by selecting "Add manually" in the left menu.

Add new collection

When adding a new collection, you need to specify which crawler to use. Select Intranet to crawl an website.

If you don't have an small website to add you can use http://www.boitho.com/ .

Filled in url, then click "Add collection". The collection will now appear in Overview, and will immediately start to fetch documents.

Later you can add collections manually, or by scanning.

Try the first search

Use a webbrowser to log in as a normal user at http://{IP-address or hostname}/, or http://{IP-address or hostname}/public if you have enabled public search in any collections.
